Focus and Scope
Sri Lanka Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology invites original articles related to the field of obstetrics and gynaecology for publication in the journal. The articles may include original papers (maximum 3000 words), case reports and brief communications (maximum 1000 words), reviews relevant to practice (maximum 2500 words) and correspondence (Maximum 400 words). All material submitted is subject to peer review by members of the editorial board and a specialist reviewer where indicated.
All articles published in the journal are deposited with Crossref
The journal is published quarterly.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
The Sri Lanka Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology is published under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0. Authors of articles published in SLJOG retain the copyright of their articles. They are free to reproduce and disseminate their work. The source (SLJOG) should be cited when articles published in the SLJOG are reproduced or stored in a repository.
The Sri Lanka Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology is published electronically and in print formats. The electronic version of the published articles can be accessed at the journal web site http://sljog.sljol.info/ All articles are published as open access. A print copy of the journal is provided free to all life members of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Others who wish to subscribe to the print copy should contact the journal office.
Copies of the Journal are provided free of cost to all the members and fellows of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

The SLJOG does not charges a fee for manuscripts submitted to the journal.
